National Nurses Week is celebrated every year beginning May 6th and ending May 12th on Florence Nightingale's birthday. Today, the holiday is celebrated nation wide and nurse gifts are given in recognition and celebration of National Nurses Week throughout the United States.
Any gift that identifies and separates a nurse from other employees in scrubs is helpful. Due to "scrub mania" there isn't much that identifies a registered nurse from a student or volunteers. Also, you may want to consider doing something different for your male nurses. Not that they should get any special treatment, just be considerate of their gender and try asking their opinion on gift ideas for male nurses.
